Gainesville, FL –July 7, 2016 – Carbonxt, in partnership with United Conveyor Corporation (UCC), is pleased to announce its selection as the sole-provider of powdered activated carbon (PAC) for a large, PRB-burning Midwest utility. Carbonxt Response to SCOTUS MATS Ruling

Despite the Supreme Court of the United State’s recent decision to remand the Mercury and Air Toxic Standards (MATS) regulation back to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, the MATS regulations remain in place.  It is expected that the DC Circuit court will issue an order in the next several months regarding next steps for the EPA to reach an appropriate remedy.
